Business telephone numbers

looking at a number for my business, found a site which offers a 0844 number which re-routes calls to your mobile for free if your with selected network suppliers(I'm with orange who are supposidly free) calls cost 5p per minute for customers, around £8 a month for me.

What do you guys think ? as I find when customers phone my house I'm never in and I would prefer the calls going to my mobile

Think that sounds awesome - I'm moving in a couple of months and its going to be major headache when I lose the landline.
We're moving area codes so it has to go.

i just hope there is no hidden charges or anything like that, i would like to find out more before i sign up as its a 12 month min contract

I posted a thread a while back about the advantages that a 0844 number makes to my business and got torn to pieces here over it. It's the best marketing tool I've got as I can advertise anywhere without anyone knowing my area code and thinking that I'm not local. People like to deal with a local business and a 0844 number helps as you can use it and be based anywhere. It's great that you can take the number with you if you move and not suffer loss of business.
The service I use charges your customer 5pence per minute and it's cheaper than calling a mobile. They also have a large number of excellent add on services and I get itemised bills every month detailing who'se called. All this is free and at no cost to me, it's the customer who gets charged 5p a minute. Every serious business should have one.

Give them a call and tell them what you're after and they'll help you, not rip you off as most of the others do.

if anyone can find any reviews on that numberstore website that would be great, as their offer seems the best so far with the free re-routing to mobile.
