C & G Domestic Natural Gas : Install & Main (NVQ III) Course.

I'm looking at a one year full time course on the above.

How good a qualification is this to have? I'm keen to get proper training so I'm safe. Can't say I'm too keen on doing a fast-track course as that's IMO no way to learn. I'm time-served myself in another trade and couldn't learn what I learned in 6 or 7 weeks.

id be surprised if you could obtain an NVQ3 in one year mate, are you sure?

Thats what the course says mate, at a local FE College.

?? it normally takes 4 years on day release with a job.

on full time without a job only the tech cert is achievable, not the nvq

They also send you out on a work placement. I assume for the NVQ.
