with reference to the above,customer informs me boiler working fine in central heating and hot water mode.the problem she has is the fan is constantly running,pump overun stops after three minutes but the fan comes on as soon as the boiler is switched on and does not stop until power is switched off,scratching head here would appreciate your thoughts😕
 
sorry wards, i didnt see it was the se model of the britony, so im not sure what problem is. If it wasnt the se model i would of said it was the h/w throttle head as the same was happening to my sisters chaffy britony and that was the throttle head, so i would guess at some flow switch problem.
 
flow switch on hw mode is working fine,have changed thermister on ch side as this can also activate the anti cycle mode,no fault codes showing,if no joy i will contact c&m tech guys.

I know how you feel!, with older boilers I use mnumonics (sp) with older boilers, Power,Pump,Flow switch, Fan,Air pressure switch,Spark, Light,

peoples,P$$$$$,F$$$,F$$$$$,always,S$$$$$$$,Lots

So the flow switch is telling the fan to stay on?.

spoke to c&m this morning and have confirmed it to be the relay on pcb,new board reqd,just thought i would let all interested know the fault😎
