i have a split cast iron down pipe (kitchen and wash hand basin waste) to repair, its split where it goes through concrete floor hence waste is seeping out, i was thinking about cutting out 50/75mm around around the pipe, patch split with some kind of epoxy, and replace concrete but chamfer up the pipe a bit to protect epoxy.

Other option is to replace cast pipe but its a 1.2m dig down through concete floor with a branch coming into it and or same but put plastic back.

any ideas.

Cut out around it and fit a collar to the cracked piece, link to help you
