Hi guys, can anyone offer me some advice please, in the summer of 2008 i removed a radiator and installed a chrome towel rail in the bathroom, now i have to bleed the radiator everyday as the top 2 bars go cold. the feed and outlet are in the bottom and the bleeding nipple is in the top which is about 5 ft off the floor and is the highest point of any upstairs rad. 😕

air being drawn in system, and is collecting in towel rad, because its the highest point.
you can get auto air vents(chrome)to fit into bleed point

You first need to determine the source of the air in the system. It might not be air does it smell when you vent the rad ?
There are numerous reasons why the rail could need venting regularly but they all need sorting out or you going to cause yourself a lot of long term trouble by just venting.

ta for the replies, I'll try the auto air vent first, I never had trouble before and the bleeding doesn't smell.😕
