Hi,

Went to a job a couple of hours ago. Heating system is a well used combi, looks like it has not seen a service for years, if supplies 6 radiators.

Two of the 3 radiators downstairs get hot, but the 1 in the hallway dose not and none of the 3 radiators upstairs gets hot.

Have checked that all the valves are open, no trv`s on any radiator, and have given the system a good bleed, so no air in pipework.

I am not gas safe, so I cant pull the boiler to bits, but my workmate is gas safe but he is away for 2 weeks, so I was wondering the best way to deal with this, to give the customer some heat.

Hope you can help.....

Thanks

Could be a number of things,

Dodgy Valves? Poorly Designed System? Blockage?

First of all id be closing the valves on the rads that do get hot, as water will just take the easiest route and then back.

Well with only six rads should zoom round, must have some kind of blockage, some combi's have a filter on return inlet, maybe divertor valve is stuck on hot water mod if that old ,what make, model of boiler is it
