Now I didn't think it could be done but apparently.....
Customer today had paid £3600 to have an open vent system boiler taken out and a combi put in. Included in the price was removal of old tanks.
Too expensive? who cares the customer agreed to the price and was obviously happy with the price.
The fitter didn't have enough time to remove the two plastic tanks in the loft but not a big deal! the problem was the shower pump still connected to the shower, luckily though the shower pump only came on when the lights were turned on in the bathroom!
The fitters solution to this was superb, don't use the lights in the bathroom whilst having a shower, he did explain that he would be back to sort it out.
Best thing though is that this is a time served plumber who did a lonnnnnnnnnnnng apprenticeship etc etc blah blah.
OH! how do I know this, well about a year ago he was in my suppliers blathering on about 2 week plumbers......... I can't wait to see him again.......
I'd give him a piece of my mind but I can't spare it:willy_nilly:
