I have a combi boiler. I'm having an issue with hot water - if I turn on the hot water tap, I immediately hear the boiler come on and water heat up (so far so good!) - however, when the water reaches a certain temperature, I hear the boiler turn off again, and then the water immediately starts running cold for about a minute, and then it repeats (boiler comes on, starts to get warm again, boiler cuts out).

This is really frustrating - having a shower is a constant dance of quickly standing under the water for the 20 seconds or so that it's hot, then moving it away for a while until it gets warm again.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the issue?

Yes, I know what the problem is but it's something you'll need a Gas Safe registered engineer to deal with, it's not a DIY job sadly.

Post your details here: [DLMURL="http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/im-looking-plumber-gas-engineer/"]I'm looking for a Plumber or Gas Engineer[/DLMURL] and one of our lovely lads or lasses will be able to help, I'm sure!
