Hi Newbie here,

I'm looking for some info regarding the fitting of a New Combi Boiler.
We have had a Baxi Bermuda Gas fire and back Boiler for the last 25 years (and it was 20 + year old when we bought it), unfortunately it is now giving up the ghost.
We are looking at having a Combi fitted, a couple of questions first.
1. Are we able to fit the boiler in a bedroom attached to an outside wall?

2. We currently have our boiler in the living room along with the timer controls, are we able to fit the timer controls for the Combi down in the living room if the Combi is fitted in a bedroom?

All replies greatly appreciated, no work is being carried out by an unauthorised and approved fitter, we just need these questions answered before making the final decision.

Thank you,

Dirky

As said, yes to both questions.

My only caveat is that the boiler will disturb anyone sleeping in the bedroom particularly when it fires up first thing in the morning.

Thanks for the reply.

Can any timer/programmer be purchased or will it have to be the same make as the Combi Boiler

They can be different the gas safe registered engine who comes to fit it will be able to advise you best as they will see the size/layout of your property
