Hi all

first post so please be gentle with me. We're trying to source wall mounted taps for a refit - we can easily find the style we want in deck mounted but have to double or treble the budget to get it wall mounted.

is it possible to convert a deck mounted set to wall mounted at all?

Not very likely at all! can you please post a pic of the ones you like . Also to plumb in a wall mounted tap will take more plumbing work also skimming and then tiling , grouting and this takes much longer than say an hour because of the time it takes drying etc...I take it this is what you mean by a larger budget? Also as they are not designed for this use the manufacturers instructions ( the only thing ever to override legislation, not that they would mind) would make any warranty invalid also the insurance too , I have had some nightmares in the past with this . I would not ever now go against manufacturers instructions as my insurance would not pay out if it flooded your house ! it would come out of your house insurance. just bear that in mind 😉
