Had a request to provide a customer with a Landy Cert...... customers own house but she's letting out one room to a lodger and she's been advised cert needed. Doesn't sound necessary to me...... am I wrong ?

No gas appliance in room being let,it' just a regular bedroom.......

I've done a few of these and most of my letting agents err on the side of caution. It's one of those things, you'd imagine that the lodger/tenant will probably use the hob or turn on the boiler so is still being used by someone other than the owner for periods of time

Thanks Riley, may well err on side of caution aswell then........atleast I get a job out of it I guess 😉
