Another cheap chineese crap tap, customer has bought a kitchen tap with spray which also has a separate outlet which turns on/off, so both outlets turn off
The problem is when you let go of the spray or turn the other outlet off and the main control/temperature (on the bottom of the tap) is still on the cold mains backs down the hot into unvented cylinder.
4 options
1, tell customer to change for better one
2. Pressure Reducing Valve on cold to balance pressure to that off the hot
3.Double check on hot inlet
4.PRV and double check
No manafacture instructions anywhere to be found as usual, how are people allowed to sell such crap.
