Hi 1---if a set of magnets was fitted into expansion tank would this help to collect ferrious particles. 2-----any idea the flow rate of the expansion tank to top up boiler. or have i lost it thanks.

Any thing collecting particles needs to be fitted on the return line to the boiler preferably. In the header tank it will just collect any particles in the header tank.
