I have a property with a fairly stable water consumption for example, 500L/24hrs. I wondered if it were possible for a device to be fitted to the water supply for this property to prevent the water usage exceeding a set level over the 24hr period (e.g. 1000L/24hrs). Is such an idea possible?
What I am trying to achieve is to ensure that in the case of a tap being left on, or a water leak occurring, the water consumption is capped at a minimal level and not allowed to continue to flow un-noticed. I'm not sure how possible such a scheme would be however....has anyone done something like this before?
thanks in advance!
