3 days ago I changed my central heating settings via UP1L programmer to "Hot water only" from "central Heating". Since then my danfoss pump has run continuously even when programmer does not call for Hot water or central heating.
The only way to stop pump is to switch off main electric switch to central heating.
Do you think I need a new programmer or is their another problem?
System worked up to three days ago and is about 8 years old.

Welcome to the forum. You need to say what sort of boiler you have ( standard boiler that heats a hot water cylinder somewhere, - or a combi?)
Also, if not a combi, - is there one or two motorised valves somewhere?
It is usually either a fault inside the boiler, or a motorised valve, but you probably will ultimately need to get an engineer out

Hi there ,, if there are no motorised valves then the issue is with your clock id say,,, because when u put it to hot water only on a gravity circuit only the boiler should come on,,, so it must be wired wrong or a problem with the clock,,, wot clock is it as some have a switch on the back putting it from gravity to fully pumped ,, it could be set to fully pumped so it will take the pump on but if you change the switch to gravity this should fix,,, you need to remove the facia to do this,
