Dash cam

Had one for around a year now. It just runs on a 15 minute loop and stops running if there is a "shock" to it. Mine is a cheapy (£32) and the only fault is that you can`t change the date setting on it.

No way, mines HD and the picture quality is excellent and I can run it back through the TV.

Depends on what were talking about, you talking front & rear all wired in then yes maybe but mine is suction cup to windscreen so I can move it between van and car, take it with me and use for video or stills.

There are HDs for 20 quid on eBay... You get what you pay for. Had a look at some reviews. It's all about the video quality day/night.

It will be a few years off, and the first car manufacturer to do it will start the ball rolling . I think they will become standard issue when you buy a new car .

Give it time and insurance companys will demand one be fitted. Radio programme last week and they were saying they are allowed as evidence.

I have a cheap and cheerful, £28. 5 weeks after I got it I was reversed into by a polish white van driver, interpreter said I hit him, video showed I was stopped and he reversed I to me, insurers paid out in 6 weeks, no problem whatsoever.

no use in dark but will upgrade as soon as I can.

Ive had one since I got the new van in May. It was 40 off of ebay, think it was the same as the one gasman bought, but he had problems with it. Good pjcture quality, day and night.

I need one that can record a 12 hour loop day or night. Someone keeps dropping dog poo bags next to the lamp post out side my house. I wouldn't mind but there's a proper bin 100yards in either direction on the field. Need to find them and deposit a ton of manure on thier door step

Mine are hard wired front and rear recording 24/7 full hd with 5 tb hard rive and wireless downloads saved me big style well worth it My insurance has halfed
