I have an Halstead finest and it's about 13 years old.

One of my pressure sensing pipes is leaking. Any ideas on how to fix this please.

Its not at the right hand side where the clip is. It's over at the left side where there seems to be some clear silicon sealant, around the pipe going into the left hand group set below the pump. (if thats the right term)

I'm just wondering if it's some special sealant around the end of the pipe when you insert it, ordinary sealant or a special silicon seal that comes with the pipe.

Do I have to drain down the central heating side, or is it a case of isolating the cold water to the boiler and leaving a hot water tap running to drain down the DHW side?

I'm just wondering if it is sealant, how long it would need leaving before, refilling the system and what this sealant would be.

All help greatly appreciated.

Did call a engineer out, but he hasn't been back in touch to give me a quote over the last 2 days.
