difference between plumbing and mechanical ?

come round to advertising etc so choosing how to word things and planning for website but seen a few companies calling themselves mechanical contratctors etc and the same for plumbing, but just seen one or 2 having both ? so whats the difference ?

Mechanical contractors tend to cover building services, HVAC, heating, vent and air con.

i have been asked to start pricing for ventilation have no idea about it to be honest so should be interesting times ahead.

sparks i know fits alot of air con and ventilation systems. His profit margin's on this work is easily 4 times that of his domestic work. He only does domestic work when he cant get enough ventilation work.
