Hi folks,

Have any of you got a decent wiring diagram for a Drayton Flowshare with RB1 relay box? I managed to find one online but it's a bit blurred. I have a diverter that's playing up. It'll motor to heating only and calling for hot water will motor to mid. It'll motor back to water only no bother too. However from water only the valve will not move to mid when a call for heating occurs. It'll only motor right across for heating only when the hot water is satisfied! I've long forgotten how these old beggars worked so if any of you could refresh my grey matter I'd appreciate it!

I'm not at the job right now and didn't do a great deal test wise other than checking the mechanical working and making sure the diverter body spindle was free.

Cheers,
Steve

Many thanks to the compadre who PM'd me 🙂

I was thinking this over and I reckon there might be an issue with the relay box. The call for hot water flicks the relay over; my thinking is that a poor contact might mean the mid position isn't powered? Just guessing as I haven't as yet received the info ... however it's coming 🙂

Anyone any thoughts?

Thanks for the link Chris ... I spoke with the custard this morning, they weren't at home yesterday when i called. It sounds like this issue may have been there a while! Their hot water is also heated via an AGA and he happened to mention that the only other time their heating didn't come on was when they ran a few baths and drained the hot water out of the cylinder! I'm leaving it on test across the weekend coz its all up and running as before?? I've now got wiring diagrams so will be doing some refresher on how it all works together.. I'd forgotten how fiddly some wiring was TBH 🙂
