Morning all. I bought a new Drayton tempus electronic programmer, to replace my worm out tempus three. I was told that the old wallplate was compatable with the new programmer. I installed the new one on the old plate, bur when set time arrived the unit light up but the boiler did not fire up. I have a pumped system and set the new programmer accordingly. Help please, David.

The plates and wiring connections are the same but maybe your system not wired for heating to work seperatly from hot water is that what you were trying to do ie when you say it did not come on ,was it set for heating only
if it does not operate for hot water check fitted correctly to back plate and power on

Thanks Puddle. System is wired for heating and hot water. When new programmer was first used timer was set for both to come on at the same time. Tanks David
