I still haven't bought a drill.

I've got a £20 off voucher for Wickes when you spend over £100.

They've got an 18v combi drill, torque 42nm??

Looks ok, I think it's the lxt model, 1 battery

£109.

It's not on the website.

If I get the Makita number can someone advise please?

The Makita stuff is pretty good, However I always go for the best value for what i'am getting; not too worried about brand., just as long as i know its quality.

If I'am getting a combi I want something with two batteries, 18-24v & decent aH on the batteries; but that's me personally.

plumb fix do the occasional good deal on power tools

combi drill on battery must be 36v , 18v is for diy and will not last long and you will end up getting another one and it will cost you more in the end + it will break right in the middle of doing a job ......
save up for 36v or get 240v and use with rcd or 110 with transformer

My. M18 Milwaukee gear is awesome. I'm against combi drills. Sds is for drilling. Im getting the 4.3j brushless beauty shortly.
