Hello one and all.
I have been asked to quote for removing a drinking fountain and installing a new one. They are changing old one as nozzles keep breaking!

Does anyone on here have much experience of installing these? I obviously want to install one that is Vandal Proof and very robust! Any ideas on prices?

Also ones I have found just through a quick spot of browsing seem to have 10mm cold water supplies to them, does this sound normal to you????

Thanks in advance as always for any help,

Lee

Can't advise on best one to buy but. They are usually 10mm plastic. You put a iso then a double check on to which you have a plastic adapter for the connection to the 10mm pipe

Very easy install. If it's your first. I believe a confident plumb will take about 1-2 hours

similar to american fridges, the 10mm plastic comes with appliance and u connect to w/m valve or iso valve

We bought a load from Plumb Center mate they're in their commercial brochure.

Solid stainless ones with anti tamper fixings etc

The American made ones are the best. Last one I fitted for a large busy town gym was a Halsey Taylor.

10mm push fit connections (the pipe went through the wall it was mounted on.

Like anything else, you get what you pay for.
