Dripping concealed mixer shower

I've just finished installing this yesterday and when the lever is off the either head (rain shower or riser rail) will drip every 20 secs or so.

How do I fix it?

The water is only wrm to not hot,the combi is not a very good ,Pro combi 80, it will be getting changed for a Worcester at some point. Is this the problem, boiler cant give enough hot water flow. The kitchen tap next to the boiler is hot and the bathroom is only 5 m away (bungalow).

Would flow restrictors help and do they go in the shower head ?

If the mixer is leaking then you need to contact the supplier.

If your pressure from the combi is lower than the cold then put a prv onto the cold to the shower. Flow restrictors won't help.

I tested it before all was tiled for flow and leaks.

you have to/should check flow temp to ensure its setup properly, will be in instructions, to ensure it doesn't scald any one.

Not one instruction came with it mate,it was from bathstore.com.
I can take lever off and access the hot adjuster thing (red ring on inside) sorry for using such loose terminology.

if control has temperature on it use thermometer to see if they match, and adjust it,
does temp control have a stop ? where you habve to press a button to turn temp high? iirc this stop point is 38c

instead of using prv,(expensive} cos its on a combi and the pressure is roughly the same on hot an cold, i use gate valves and throttle back flow on cold abit

is it meant for a combi ? maybe low pressure valve ? did you flush out pipework ? could have got dirt it and causing it to leak ?

not as a stopcock but should be alright to throttle cold back a bit

Can I use a full bore isolating valve instead of a gate valve,just for space really,I can hide in studwork behind skirting in adjoining room.
No I didnt flush out pipe work but I taped over all my cut ends well, although I suppose it could have gotten onto valve ,but it was fresh out the box and not lying around.

How do I flush it out ?

No temp control on it just all the way round for hot, any ideas.

Guaranteed no dripping it says !

You shouldn't find any debris in the valve as it should have filters on both hot and cold to prevent this. If no filters then it could be muck in the valve which will mean any guarantee is worthless.

I would do as steveb says and contact bathrooms.com. although I wouldn't buy online anyway.

There sending a new cartridge out,they were fine about it.

Any tips on replacing it other than switch the water off !

Hopefully there will be some instructions with it but I wouldn't hold your breath. If you're struggling post some pictures of it and somebody may be able to help you.
