Dripping Hot Water Tap of Kitchen Sink Mixer Monobloc

The hot water tap of the mixer is dripping but unfortunately I can't seem to undo the tap body. Its the screw type tap. I have used wd40 and penetrating oil but it has not budged. I am using a socket to undo the tap body. Wife is nagging so I am bit desperate, any advice welcome.

tell her to do it, get a beer and then watch telly.

the tap may need to come of first to get purchase on nut.

take a photo and post here, maybee its not as straightforward as you think.

some wouldn't undo if you jumped on them all day. you can pick up a cheap mixer tap for 30-40 quid from screwfix.
