Hi All,

Just looking to see if anyone could shed some light on my predicament.

I need to replace a pan connector to my bathroom toilet following my youngest initially blocking the toilet then me in my infinite wisdom using a plunger to force water through the bowl to try and unblock, and in the course of doing so have either ruptured or split the existing with water running into the living room.

Main problem is that the guts of the toilet are enclosed, so the question is, how to gain access in a logical manner, is it the reverse to how it was put in?

Don't want to go on there heavy handed when there might a sequence to follow for access.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Duane40,

Looking at the size of the hole that the pan connector goes through, you might be able to pull the old one out and replace it without removing anything (going by the second picture).

I've tried removing the board but not enough clearance either way. Pan connector goes 90 deg into the floor so may be a bit to difficult to remove especially as you can't get your hands in there. Just trying to avoid a full strip out.

can't even get your hands in there.
