Boiler is about 5 years old and this problem started a few months ago....
When using the shower sometimes the water fails to get hot at first taking about a minute or so before kicking in. Other times it can go cold part way thorugh a show, then if left for a minute or so will return hot.
Everytime I dive out of shower to see what is happening at the boiler it goes hot again! It's a mira thermostatic shower but I'm pretty sure that's not the issue - I'm sure it's the boiler. It's annoying that it doesn't just stop working so I can properly find out what's wrong and fix it! CH works fine and not noticed a problem with DHW from taps but it;s possibly the same but not as noticeable... Boiler pressure is fine.
Am wondering if it's the hall effect turbine sticking or the sensor itself or maybe a fault in the DHW temp sensor? Any suggestions or ideas how to trouble shoot such an intermittent fault. Seems to happen once about 1 in every 4 showers and a bit of an unwelcome shock when it does....!
