Hi Guys, just wondering if this is the same as the level 3 nvq course, Its a 2 year course with 7 modules and the only work assessment is commisioning a central heating system, just wondering if this qualification is worth the while, also do you need to do level 3 to go on a unvented course,
hope for some advise thanks

Am doing my level 3 now and unvented ticket is part of it (did that 3 weeks back) also do Wras ticket and ACS at the end. two years seems a long time as we are doing it in a year . Will you be doing on site assesments and will you get your 80 days gas log ???

Not enrolled yet as i think it could be a waste of time, the only on site assesment involved is just commisioning a system and checking the temp, think the eal qual is totally different, from the nvq, just need some advise to see if this qual is any good to me, if not i would rather pay for a part p course,

no it is exactly the same qual, just slightly different assessments to meet the same outcomes. It isnt different from the nvq as it IS the nvq. Maybe you meant to say different than the C&G's NVQ. if you look through these plumbing courses threads you will see a post a while back were i clear this up
