Eco Tec pro 24 f62 fault code

ive for an f62 as an occasional fault. Anyone know the correct resistance on the gas valve?

32 on V1
16 on V2

Could it be a flame sensor? Could be talking out my hoop don’t think I have had that one before.

Cause:
Delayed shutdown of gas valve detected

– Secondary light (ignition and monitoring electrode indicates delayed extinguishing of the flame signal)

– Gas valve defective

– PCB defective

I've not seen it happen. There's no way to test the pcb from memory.

I would suspect PCB to be honest. It is possible it's the Gas valve but it would need to be sticking or slow closing? not seating down properly.

What do you think?

I think your probably right. I've batted it back to vaillant. I'm to busy.
This is a stupid time of year, to many enquiries to cope with.

Because that would be far to easy mate. People look at me like an idiot when I tell them to put the heating on for an hour once a month. But it blooming helps.

i know a vaillant engineer who i used to work with a t BG rang him with the F62 fault and he said PCB definitely.

its deffo the pcb also check the capacitor on the pcb to see if its bulging as they do on the 7 year + vaillants .
