Hi, I've just replaced the pump on a Vaillant ecoTec pro 28, 5 pin connector for a 3 pin connector, was this ok. Now the fan has a problem, F32. Does any body know which sensor is the hall sensor? Thanks for any help.

Fault code 32 in the manual states cause as - Fan blocked.............hall sensor defective (!!!), fault in cable.......etc. Also on wiring diagram 1 cable is labelled 'hall signal'. Any help ? Thanks in advance.

It's actually a "Hall effect" sensor. Look it up in Wikipedia. Probably built into the fan and used to control fan speed.
