electric geyser water stops after few minutes !!

I have an electric geyser and it heats pretty well
No problem in heating but the problem is that hot water comes for 4-5 minutes and the pressure is not good as well and then it stops
Then i have to close the tap wait for few minutes and open the tap again, it comes for 4-5 minutes and stops again ???

What could be the possible reason?
Is it the geyser or anything else???

Filters need cleaning.
Overheating, then cools off, then gives you demand?
