Took my CCN1 at the beginning of the week and passed
Unvented and passed today
Energy efficency passed today

leaves boilers practical on Friday and all done.

roll on certificates and registration.

same here, ccn1 done and dusted. also did fires boilers water heaters and cookers this week and passed all them. doing energy efficiency on monday. cant wait. 😀

passed Cen1 - goto wait for registration and some more money before i can sit Gas fires, cooker and analyser as not enough in foundation portfolio so will go back as a cat1 and sit then.

Out for a few beers tonight i can tell you

Oh yes they fail, if everyone who walked thorough the doors passed then somets wrong. there was a guy on my course who claimed to have been doing gas for almost 20 years (probably illegally) he sat the ccn1 and passed by the skin of his teeth. went to do appliances and didnt have a clue. he was so dangerous and clueless that he couldnt find a gas leak in a mock kitchen with 4 appliances in it, needless to say hed failed big time, if he had of passed he would probably kill someone within a few months. ive never seen such a clueless person,

In my defense I would just like to say I was having an off day at the time, we all have them, I have been practicing alot since then and will be able to find any gas leaks they flame throw at me ,it should be taken into account that they put four appliances in the kitchen deliberately to confuse me,I would say it is a bit harsh to say I was clueless after all I did kind the kitchen area and I am confident that should I pass I will be able to kill someone well within the few months mentioned,thats the trouble with you time served lot always picking on us fast trackers for no reason,now were me smoke pellets to check the pull on this er hob 😀

HAHAHA dont forget to do your spillage test and check the multi functional valve on that er hob lol, hope you have a pack of matches to find that gas leak with to puddle lol

Just about to sit the assements for dom nat gas safety, does anybody else find that hen looking at flueing standards its too much to take in as in all the clearences ect (25 mm/50mm) it seems it doesn;t matter how safe you re to work on gas as long as you can learn the book you will pass ?
