no i have never heard of a pressuriseation unit but its not a expansion vessel,the clue to that is in its name it absorbs expansion could you tell us why your asking,have you got problems?
Not really had much dealing with pressurisation units, but no they are not the same as expansion vessels.
From my limited experience in these I believe that pressurisation units are found/used mainly in commercial sealed systems as they act as an auto fill mechanism as opposed to an expansion vessel which allows for expansion within a system
preasurisation unit is a breaktank.pumnp and preasure switch used as a unit to fill a preasurised system automaticly usually comes as a unit fixed on a frame
