Hello, from a new member
i have a new build property, the ch system has an expansion tank on the top of the water cylinder

I have a few questions

1. When the system is off the gauge says 0 is that right?

2 when the system is on it only reads .5 as a maximum pressure

3. I need to refill the tank, everyone seems to say top up with air but I have been told to use the filling loop using water which is right?

many thanks in advance

tim

You need to use the loop to fill with water and the vent the air from the radiators. When all air has been expelled fill the system to 1.5 bar when it's cold.
