Bought an expansion vessel from toolstation with mounting bracket. What a pain didn't come with locking nut to hold to bracket. I used 3/4 backnut but them female iron would not bottom out as nut was to thick.

Too much rum lol. Bought vessel and bracket it was not s watts they supplied. It come without mounting nut anyone else had this. Only bought it as it was cheaper than the ones from merchants. Learnt my lesson now
 
If have had this its a nice bracket that you put the thread through a hole in bracket and a lock nut holds it in place only problem is the threaded section is then too short for fittings

Exactly mate. On some backnut bottoms out of thread before clamping.
