So a f1 fault code appeared today on my boiler and I looked in the manual which said it was a pressure problem.
I reapplied the pressure so the gauge read 1.5 and then bleed the radiators. The pressure originally read 1.2
There was a lot of air in them which drained the pressure gauge close to zero.

I then refilled it and checked the radiators again, switched off the radiator and went through the start up procedure. It worked. I was getting hot water and the CH was working. I gave my self a big pat on the back and looked for praise from the wife.

About two hours later and the f1 code is back on, the pressure seems to be the same.
Any ideas on how to rest the boiler or further checks I can try.

Read your boiler manual as to how to reset it, if there isn't a reset button it may be a case off simply switching it off, then back on
If that doesn't cure it and your pressure is good, then that's about all you can do unless you're gas safe I'm afraid mate
Good luck
