Got a txt from customer this morning that the boilers not working & F3 was coming up on a Glowworm 15 hxi....now just looking though F3 says "fan unable to reach ignition speed" so I guess maybe spinning & lubricating fan after testing for 240, going there in the morning, so just looking for a heads up...cheers ....

Normally is the fan, check for signs of the flue leaking is a good one for taking the fan out.

Is that the ultracom hxi or betacom hxi , most likely the fan, check voltage at the connector and the usual continuity on the harness, might be lucky with a wiggle of the connector , if fan isn't ramping up then possibly no signal through variable speed so fault maybe the fan or just at ignition stage ,

Yep fan it was....mate had one, tested the one on boiler & nothing plugged his one in & away it went....don't like Glowworms....
