Hi All,

I have a problem with the central heating, as soon as I put on CH and HW the fuse belongs to the central heating system gives fault. I think it is the three port valve but it could be the inmersion heating.
Could someone advise on this problem please?

Thanks

just done one like this inspect the insides of the threeway valve for water getting through the spindle it a new valve job if it is

The immersion heater should be on its own fuse not the central heatings. If it isn't I would get it looked at by an electrician quickly.

The central heating fuse could be a few things but as Steve says, check the 3 port valve for problems.

Are you saying that the fuse blows? If so I would measure the resistance on all 3 speeds at the pump. something like 350 ohms, 250 ohms and 150 ohms. measure same across 3 port valve
