Fault on Biasi

Hi all, ive got a fault on biasi 24s combi, when i call for h/w fan kicks in and i see spark between electrodes but after about 4 secs it locks out. same on c/h
Any ideas?

Are you getting a lock out indication?? If so, could well be that it is overheating and tripping the limit stat / high limit stat.

if it is sparking at the ignition then you know that everything is fine up until that stage of the ignition sequence - i.e, pump, fan, pressure switch etc. You need to be looking after that such as limit stat, or even gas valve!!

hi john im just getting the solid red light on the front, i was thinking it might be saftety stat

fair enough ,do you know if the gas pressures are ok? is the detection probe getting hot or is the burner flame touching it?

Have you checked to see if gas getting beyond gas valve at burner pressure test nipple.

had a similar thing on a new biasi foned technical they said it was the stat on the right side of the case i checked it with my meter when they came they replaced it and was the same turned out to be a black plug on the board not pushed in fully,pushed it futher in ,an all was fine

Try disconecting the programmer from the pcb its any easy check i have had this a couple of times on the riva's checked every thing else only to turn out to be that :90:

If it condensing boiler i wud clean the condensing pipe and the trap too.if it still not working i wud look at flame rectification or pcb also check resistance on solenoid gas valve.
