Hi, I have a heatline viso 24 ( i know what your thinking but im determined to make it work!!)

The problem im having is it keeps triggering the thermostat light which stops it working. I have tried replacing it but nothing and im reluctant to change the pcb unless i really have to. One thing i noticed was that the return pipe (on the left) gets very very hot but the flow pipe (right) is still cold.

I am only running two rads off it at the mo - do i need more??

sludge in the system..
In the return valve there is a metal filter (gauge) to prevent nasties getting back into the boiler. Drain down and remove the nut on the return valve and take out the metal filter, clean under the tap and put it back in the valve. Refill and you should be getting the heating circulating around the radiators (as long as you have piped them up correctly).
let us know how you go..

Thanks Manx,

That does sound like a logical answer. ill try that tomorrow and post the results

Are we saying it is over heating
Is there a in line mesh filter on return on this boiler <

Well I took the return valve apart and cleaned out the mesh filter, which was full of flakes of rust/dirt. Then I flushed it through for a while, put it back together and fired it up. It was working well and there was hot water coming back through the return pipe but it still over heated. So i think I need to flush it through for longer and then try it.
