who uses FB to promote there bussines. FB for us oldies is slang for facebook or as i call it relationship killer

I don't but a mate of mine has an FB page set up for his business. It looks good and is an easy way for him to show his work to potential customers - not sure if it generates much work though but I think it's free to set up.

You can use twitter as well. You can set it up so it auto follows people if they mention certain things. Obviously you only get 140 characters per tweet but theres sites where you can type up to a 1000 and it puts it as a short link.
