hi all

my old (until now well behaved) ferroli 77 is playing up
during the summer (central heating off) the combi began to take its time in firing up to give us hot water
now with the central heating on (which works ok) the hot water bit fires up ok but the water is only luke warm
the only way to get the water hot is to restrict the flow of water by turning the tap down.

whta do you reckon is wrong with it

cost to repair

i reckon its knackered

as memory serves me those boilers dont have a diverter valve so its probably a flow switch,
really not something for an amateur to get involved in, you need to get a gas safe registered engineer in to look at it
