Ferroli Modena

Hi interested in fitting the new ferroli Modena ,I like the 4part set up same as intergas but I prefer expansion vessel easy to remove and like the stainless heatexchanger.
I know the older ferrolis were awful but it's price is very good has anyone had any issues or good feedback from customers?

intergas robo kits are even easier to swap, being they arent in the boiler case, but someone will say they are ugly 🙂

I know what your saying but having everything accessible in the boiler is a big plus for me

I can't ever imagine putting the name Ferolli in a quote and a customer not throwing it straight in the bin. The 4 part set up means nothing with their reputation.

I fitted a Modena 3-4 years ago for a builder I did the occasional work for, in their own home. The (awful) programmer broke on fitting, and the fan failed on start up. You can get an Ideal Independent + for a few notes more surely?

i agree entirely. I fitted one for a builder a few years back. Had to free up the pump on start up.

If it was the old modena then yes they were dreadful,ideal independent worse heat exchanger leak via condense= loss of system pressure also diverter leaks flow turbine sticks pressure gauge rattails need I say more,and that was on 3 I fitted so no thanks on an ideal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
