Hope your going to tile the wall mate that will get soaked. Never heard of a dust sheet in the bath BTW? Why did you knock two tiles off anyway?

cheers grays, the dust got washed away down the bath sink hole LOL with a little dustpan and brush, Yeah going to take them ugly green tiles down tiler coming in two weeks to tile bathroom. The two tiles which are knocked had to be knocked as I had to cut 15m tees into the boiler and on the hot water is as tight as i would have gotten it.

Have seen a whole lot worse quite tidy for an apprentice check out sponsor 365 Drills sells great tile hole cutting sets check out his video`s🙂regards turnpin

How much could you charge a customer for doin that job

£25 if it was local ...

😛

Well done - always satisfying doing your first plumbing job without a plumber. My first was changing a WC syphon. I had no idea what I was doing, flushed WC, stopped water then undid the syphon nut underneath the cister. Didn't realise how much water was going to flood all over the floor ...

How long did that job take? Where I live you're looking at £100 for 1/2 day and £175 for full day.

Sounds like good money to charge, I dont know how much I would charge a customer as of yet as im only an apprentice but im sure know what my fitter would charge if i asked him lol 🙂

Hello turpin thanks I saw those sets and the video seem pretty cool and they ask for £50 for the set. But i only need to cut two holes into a tile and was thinking a cheaper option I saw this 60mm holesaw bit on ebay do you think it will be ok?

buy cheap buy twice - the guys on this forum i assume have used 365 holesaws and as such recommend them, they seem good quality from a reputable manufacturer as apposed to a set made in china sold by a anonymous ebay seller

bit may be cheap but theres no pilot bit which may come as a jig or in kit form then the price will spiral

dont forget to fit a retaining ring on the riser bar. If you dont and the head can reach the tray level you will need to fit double check valves on your pipework after your iso valves.

Apart from that you have done a good job.

In my opinion I would stick to the 356 drills set maybe more expensive but over time it will pay for its self maybe ask your governor to buy it for you and stop you a fiver a week out of your wages best of luck and well done once again🙂regards turnpin

As a DIY man I bought a set of 365 bits for doing my bathroom and toilet areas. Excellent and good value I thought.
