Fittings for drinking water

View the thread, titled "Fittings for drinking water" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

Hi

Have a little job under kitchen sink and need to know how to identify fittings (valve, tee, coupler) suitable for drinking water.

Should I be looking for only EN-1254-1 or EN 1254-2 or something else?

For example, is this one good for drinking water?

This one (nickel plated) probably not suitable:

Thanks

I would say that the one’s you’ve seen will be fine:
