Gainsborough Shower help

A friend has asked me to seek help for jim, he has an Gainsborough electric shower, He doesnt know the model as their is no number on it, He said it runs cold constant with no hot water - he says it has happened before and the plumber replaced the thermostat, he said he thinks its the thermostat... Im confused as i didnt think it has a thermostat.. Any help appreciated

Can you advise on the gainsborough model and il have a look at the instuctions for it to see how it works and what the problem is

It will either be an issue with the cannister or a control to the cannister

yes il speak with him tommorrow, He said its a new silver model and the model number has come off, I was under the impression i would have to change the whole engine as they dont sell internal parts anymore for new gainsborough electric showers, il get back to you, In the meantime if anybody else can help

is it not under warranty then? the model number should not have come off already!

go on the shower doctor website you may be able to identify the model on there and get spares 🙂
