Kev the gas

As title says, 35Ci leaks water when topping up the pressure, from a valve called Reduced Pressure Zone valve ??

The water comes from the brass threaded nipple! to the right of the red PRV ( which is also letting by ) only when the water pressure is topped up.

Expansion vessel pressure was checked with system drained down and found to be ok.

Anyone got a part number for it ? please.

had this loads of times it stops when you close the fill loop, i actuly thought it was suposed to do that at first because of the amount of them I came across that did it. Soz cant help you out on the part no though.

Hi, common fault indeed. What you need is a filling loop kit. I think part no is 200802600. Best to check with your supplier though.

Changed a few of these also, the RPZ is instead of a removable link / air gap. Also had a few of the non return valves stick on the fill link.

Can't help with part number but do know they are expensive for what is in effect just a fill loop, I have now taken to cutting in a standard fill loop below the boiler if space allows.

Fixing Leaky Pipes

Always bear in mind also to inspect your water pipes across the water boiler. Always make sure that not any joints are truly leaky. Whenever there are not any leaks from one of many gaskets repair service is actually required.
