Hi there does any one have a link to a site that as a manual for a glow worm Majorca back boiler and fire

Tell me about it had a right nightmare with one yesterday, what sort of year are we looking at mid 70's or 80's

Data plate not readable anymore it was on the left hand side of the fire front looks like it got a little warm in its years

I'd imagine late 70's 80's yeh! They were new when I first started  As Steve says though, all the info you need is on the data badge... was it the one with the metal rods holding the fire in place? They're probable on the asbestos list I'd imagine?

No it was a metal brace that was attached to the top of the heat exchanger that held the fire on

They were out in the early to mid 70's. You will be lucky to find a manual for it.

Yea it's looking that way tamz, cannot see me doing another cannot be many out there

I've never seen one for a good few years now. The trouble with getting hold of old manuals is it was pretty standard practice for the installer to take away the mi's (usually bin them) to stop people having a go at stripping them down themselves so it is rare to find a customer who had one.
