Hi all,
Anyone fitted one of these? No fibre washer on gas connection. The coned joint didnt seem to marry together too well anyone else noticed this? Only seen the one.

Commisioning it for the company i work for. There was a slight drop on a tightness test found it to be at this joint when i noticed no fibre washer and the cone. The cone didnt seem to push into the joint ver far. MI dont show fibre washer so assuming the joint is just with the coned fitting.

had problems with fan/gasvalve asse going back in afterwards after doing combustion gasket upgrade crap design it was on the oring clip idea on gas feed

the gas valve has a flat face where the rubber washer goes on and a normal compression end if these are mixed up then you'll get a drop.
Also worth checking the test point screw on the iso as well hope that helps

The iso valve had the compression nut but the part on the boiler was coned. There was no washer or r u refering 2 the gas valve inside the boiler?

R u saying there should b a washer or is there a chance they may have changed the fitting?

the nut and cone goes on the copper tail out of the boiler then the rubber washer goes on the flat face with nut fastening the copper tail supplied to which you connect your gas supply
