ok,

i was called to the above boiler today. I was getting fault code for air pressure switch / fan.

As soon as i disconnected the clear tube from the fan to the APS the boiler started.

I done this 4/5 tkmes and it made the boiler start each time.

I assume the APS is working as i got it satisfied.

So would this be a blocked venturi preventing the tubes from given the APS activation.

I didnt have time to strip out the fan to check the venturi but I am returning tomorrow.

Good chance you have a blockage at the fan .... aren't these prone to water ingress filling up the fan?

Blockage or as diamond says water ingress through the flue. Changed loads of pcbs on these blown by water ingress.
