Hi, my boiler was consistently dripping from the expansion vessel with the pressure at about 2 bars or higher with fault f1. I was told to bleed a radiator and pump air into the expansion vessel , so I did up to about 4 psi. Suddenly something gave and water gushed out of the safety pipe outside the house. When I kept pumping, eventually air and water started fizzing out of the expansion vessel. I reassemble d the boiler, filled the filling loop, and repressurised to c. 1.8 bar. All seemed to work, then pressure fell quickly. I looked outside and it is pouring from the prv. Now faults show f9 and f22. System can't hold pressure, no heating, no hot water except when I keep filling it up. Any ideas? Is it prv I damaged when pumping or expansion vessel or both?! Thanks!
